“While I Wait…”

💗Learn to wait. Stop wishing for some. Some being so desperate. Stop complaining that you’re getting “too old.” Stop comparing your love life to someone else’s because yours is written by God. Ask yourself: Are you really ready for someone? And if you are, what are you expecting? Will he or she be like the one you’ve always wanted? Don’t settle for less….. Get your lives together and wait!💗😘💪

“A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
~Proverbs 18:24 NKJV

GOD IS AWESOME! He places people in our lives for many reasons. Whether it is to help us, to guide us, someone you can count on and spend time with. It is always a good thing to have someone who will always be there because you don’t have to feel alone. The most important thing about being a friend is love!❤

God’s Love is unconditional!

I can honestly say that this is my new theme of my life! I don’t listen to songs that are like this, but I mean talk about a song that declares bravery, self confidence and strength! I encourage you to include this song into your playlist, iPods, anything that you use!

The thing that I LOVE most about this song is how STRONG it is! Confidence is the key especially if you know who you are as a person! I believe God gave Rachel Patten this idea of this song because she wants to encourage others that she had overcame obstacles that made her the strong person that she is today. And do you thing that she did it alone?

“I’ve still got a lot of FIGHT left on me!”

God is NOT done with her yet! Even if she has to stand alone, she will still stand anyway!

We all go through things good or bad. To either wake us up to get our attention, to help out someone who us going through a similar situation. A test is not a punishment that God has given us because we’ve done something wrong or something good. When we make mistakes, we are not punished. We learn, we grow, we nature! We’re stronger individuals! When that similar situation comes again, we know how to conqueror it!

I like songs that encourage you to be strong and to not be afraid! Why? God has commanded us not to be afraid!

“Have I NOT commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage! Be NOT afraid neither be thou dismayed for the Lord God is with you! Wherever you go!” ~Joshua 1:9

We are strong because know that God is with us! We are fearless because we know that God is with us! We do not need other peoples approval of who we ought to be just because they disapprove! We need to just be! Us! God created Earth because he thought it was good! He created mankind because He thought we were good! I am proud that He made me because i think I am good!

“Starting right now, I’ll be strong!”

Declare it today!😁

“Fight Song” By Rachel Patten

“Read or Sink..”

Growing up, I remember singing this song:

“Read your Bible. Pray everyday, pray

Pray everyday

Read your Bible. Pray everyday.

And you’ll grow, grow, grow!!”

It may look or sound like a little kiddie song, but it reminds me why I need to read my Bible…. Every single day.

When I was 16 years old, I applied for my very first job. Every since then, I’ve always wanted one so I could help out at home financial wise. My family and I did not have a high income like most families, but we managed and were very happy! I was ecstatic when I received that phone call telling me that the job that I have applied for was mine. I could not stop thanking God for the job because that was something that I have prayed and believed Him for.

As I continued to work and work, I started to get busy to the point to where I had to put things on hold for a while: after school activities, spending time with friends and even my Bible reading. Working was fun because I have grown to love it, but the more I loved it, the more hours I worked. Less time to do anything especially to read my Bible. I would come home not feeling up to reading or praying at all. I have felt like for the longest time the things that pertain to the Bible would come naturally to me that reading was no longer an option. I thought “Since life is good, Gods got me. He understands if I do not talk to Him. If I don’t pray.”

That above song was not over. For i had remembered the other verse that says:

“Don’t read your Bible. Forget to pray, forget to pray, forget to pray.

Don’t read your Bible. Forget to pray

And you’ll shrink, shrink, shrink.”

Then out of the blue, it hit me:

I’ve watched other people around me be showered with Gods blessings wondering:

“Wait, God! Where are mine?”

Miracles were happening all around me everyday.

“Wow, God. I am really missing out here.”

Lives were being changed.

“God, why am I still the same?”

It is important for us as Christians to read our Bibles everyday. It is a tool for is to stand up against evil (Ephesians 6:10) and fight fights the right way (1

Timothy 6:12). Through out this little journey, I’ve began to feel weak and powerless because i have felt lost, lazy and alone. Thinking that I have everything together. With that knowledge, I have accomplished nothing.

If you were to give God just 15 minutes of your time everyday to spend some with Him everyday, to pray and read, when the time comes for you to finally stand up against evil, to feel good of the things God has blessed you with or to share the Word with others as a living witness, I can only imaging the smile that you will put on Gods face. I have found out that God speaks to me through His word and He will speak through me. He will do the same for you! Continue to read and to pray because you are going to be showered with many of Gods wonderful blessings that you will not have room enough to receive. I dare you today. Talk to God! Watch yourself grow.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” ~Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

God bless you!
